Outside Sales Supervisor
Bluewave Supervisors provide leadership and management for a team of eight to ten
salespeople/technicians. Supervisors are responsible for recruiting, hiring and training
team members to attain sales and technical connect goals, while meeting client quality
Ideally, the supervisor applicant would have previous experience in leadership and/or
management of salespeople to goal. Previous experience in the cable television industry
and leadership/management of small to midsize work groups is a plus.
Bluewave Networks salespeople contact customers and present:
• Digital Video Services
• High Speed Internet Service
• Digital Telephone Services
These services are offered to new prospective clients and current customers
Bluewave Networks provides a training program.
This is a commissioned based position in which salespeople generally earning
$800-$1,500 per week.
The ideal applicant will have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of
automobile insurance. Background checks are required.
Responsible for promoting the features, benefits and value of all cable television
products and services through door to door solicitation.
To perform technical/installation related and customer relations in the field, including
new connects, reconnects, upgrades, disconnects, sales, saves and other activities.
Essential Functions of the position
Generate new customer acquisitions to non-customers in marketable areas.
Promote upgraded sales packages to existing customers.
Place new home terminals and explain the features and benefits.
Perform connects (reconnects), disconnects (requested and non-pays), upgrades,
downgrades and install or remove receivers.
Perform all work as necessary to conform to quality control guidelines.
Perform collection activities on past due balance accounts and outstanding equipment
from former customer accounts.
Audit database records and make corrections, additions and deletions.
Maintain records including daily customer contact activity logs and properly record all
required information on sales applications, work orders and payroll worksheets.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.
Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner Ability to maintain high level of
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
Ability to use hand tools in the reconnection of cable service Knowledge and ability to
perform reconnect installations at time of sale.
Knowledge of cable television products and services.
Related Work Experience
No experience required. Will train!
Door to Door Sales Experience helpful.
Certifications and/or Licenses
Background check required.
Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record and auto insurance.
12 Retail Sales Associate Positions-Temporary Part Time $14 hr
The retail sales associate will represent Charter Communications products and services
in Big Box stores such as Best Buy, Circuit City and CompUSA. The stores are located in
the cities of Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Long Beach, West Covina, Norwalk.
General Duties to be performed:
Greet everyone who enters the department area that the associate has been assigned
Relate with the consumer regarding the products in which they are interested.
Explore the needs of the customer.
Advise each consumer of what Charter Communications products and services will fill
their needs, not forgetting to evangelize the advantages of the Charter Bundle.
Tie it all together and close the sale.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
Sell Charter services & sign customers up through a system TBD.
Promote in-store Charter offers, as well as all other Charter services, including Digital
Cable, DVR, HD-DVR, OnDemand, HSI and Digital Telephone service.
Train national retail sales associates by providing them with the latest information on
updated offers and promotions, in-store rebates, as well as new information relative to
any Charter services or customer care.
Motivate national retail sales associates by educating them on exciting new sales
incentives that are available to them.
Generate additional weekend/week long merchandising space for Charter such as a
promotional table, balloons, front counter brochure space, etc.
Maintain all in-store fixed displays for HSI, Phone and Video/
